Taco Man began as a small family business in Los Angeles.
One day, we were hired for a secret Hollywood event — which turned out to be for Tom Hanks himself.
He loved our tacos so much that he personally called later asking for more rice!
Since that day, we’ve proudly catered over 30,000 events, becoming known as The Original and World Famous Taco Man.

 

🌮 HOW MANY TACOS SHOULD I PLAN PER GUEST?

We recommend planning for about 4 tacos per guest — they’re street-size tacos served on fresh corn tortillas.
(Some guests enjoy 6–8, so for larger appetites, it’s always best to order one package size up.)

 

🧃 HOW MUCH AGUA FRESCA DO I NEED?

Our aguas frescas come in 5-gallon containers, and each one typically serves 20–25 guests, depending on cup size and refills.
Cups are not included.

 

🔥 DO YOU COOK ON LOCATION?

Absolutely!
Our team arrives about one hour early to set up and cook everything fresh on-site.
We bring the grill, ingredients, and full professional setup to your event.

 

🍳 WHAT COOKING OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER?

We offer three convenient ways to enjoy our world-famous tacos:

  1. Cooked On-Site – Our most popular option.
    Our team arrives early and cooks everything fresh at your event, bringing the full grill and professional setup.
     

  2. Buffet Delivery Service – Perfect for offices or venues that don’t allow on-site cooking.
    We prepare everything fresh at our facility, deliver it hot, and set it up in disposable chafing dishes so your guests can serve themselves.
     

  3. Pick-Up Option – Ideal for small gatherings.
    You can pick up your order from our location, and we’ll provide everything you need, including tortillas, salsas, utensils, and trays.
     

 

🌯 HOW MANY PROTEIN OPTIONS CAN I CHOOSE?

Each catering package includes your choice of up to three proteins at no extra charge.
All proteins are cooked fresh and served with corn tortillas, homemade salsas, onions, cilantro, and limes.

  • Guest Count: Final count due 4 days before your event (upgrades accepted up to 1 day prior)
     

 

👕 WHAT DO YOUR COOKS WEAR?

All cooks wear professional chef coats and maintain a clean, uniform appearance at every event.

 

💬 DO YOUR COOKS SPEAK ENGLISH OR SPANISH?

Yes — our team is about 50/50 bilingual.
Half of our cooks speak English fluently, and the other half speak primarily Spanish.
If you prefer an English-speaking cook, simply let us know when booking and we’ll make sure your event is staffed accordingly.

 

🍖 IS YOUR FOOD FRESH AND CLEAN?

Yes — 100%.
All meats are cut and marinated in-house by our butcher team, and everything is prepared from scratch for each event.
We take pride in offering the cleanest, freshest taco service in Southern California.

 

🌯 WHAT HAPPENS WITH LEFTOVERS?

You keep them!
Before leaving, our team will grill extra tortillas and package everything neatly so you can enjoy leftovers later.

 

💳 PAYMENTS & FEES

We accept:

  • Credit cards (4% processing fee)
     

  • Checks (accepted 14 days prior)
     

  • Zelle / Cash App
     

Sales tax and small travel fees apply. Deposits are non-refundable and required to confirm your event.

 

🧾 CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Less than 24 hours: 100% charge
     

  • 24–48 hours: 50% charge
     

  • More than 48 hours: No charge
     

Deposits are non-refundable.

 

💼 NON-PROFITS & COMPANIES

We proudly serve non-profits, schools, and corporate accounts with net terms available upon approval.
